The photograph ‘Baron Eckhardt Safaris’ is based on this sketch. Due to locally found materials and circumstances on site, the Masai villagers and me decided to make a portrait photograph, instead of a landscape picture of the village wrapped in traditional Masai fabrics.
The photograph shows a sensitive and close band between two sisters. People purchasing this image should be aware of the emotional value of the image, according to cultural standards of the Masai people.
