The photograph ‘Baron Eckhardt Safaris’ is based on this sketch, made on forehand. Due to locally found materials and circumstances on site, the Masai villagers and me decided to make a portrait photograph. Instead of a landscape picture of the village wrapped in traditional Masai fabrics.
The photograph shows a sensitive and close band between two sisters. And has an emotional value according to cultural standards of Masai people.
